The inspiration for this jam comes from two things—George and Lily’s strawberries and our daughter’s favorite picture book, Jamberry. To us, there is nothing that is more iconic to spring in NC than strawberry season.  This jam celebrates that feeling— and leaves us wishing that we too, were ‘dancing in meadows of strawberry jam’.

 

Like all of our jams, Strawberry Sumac is fruit forward, with more fruit and less sugar in each jar.  We balance the sweetness of the berries with sumac, a wonderfully sour ground spice commonly used in Middle Eastern and Arab cuisines.  Together, the sweetness of the strawberries and brightness from the sumac create a universally loved strawberry jam that enchants the tastebuds and leaves you dreaming of spring.

Storage Instructions

Unopened, our jams can be stored for 1 year at room temperature. Once opened, please refrigerate.
